Amethyst’s shades of purple, colour symbolizes royalty, richness. Also known as the Bishop's Stone. Amethyst is believed to symbolize piety, humility, sincerity and spiritual wisdom. It is also used as a dream stone to help insomnia. Amethyst is the birthstone for February and is the Zodiac stone for Pisces.


Chalcedony is believed to one of the very first raw materials used by mankind, Chalcedony rings that were worn by ancient Romans are still found in remarkably good shape today. Chalcedony was used as a sacred stone by Native Americans, Chalcedony is believed to increase endurance, stamina, vitality, and to promote emotional balance, kindness, charity, and friendliness.



Blue Chalcedony’s name is derived from ‘Chalcedon’ or ‘Calchedon’, It has a waxy lustre and appears in a great variety of colours including blue, white, tan, green, red, grey, black, yellow or brown. Chalcedony is said to nurture and promote brotherhood and good will. It is believed Chalcedony absorbs negative energy and dissipates it, harmonizes mind, body, and spirit, and instils generosity.
